Live Search Club

Added 8/7/08 To boost the market share of their search engine, Microsoft is now running a game that offers some very attractive prizes, including frequent flyer miles.  I now play these games more than any others, and have gotten 5,000 Delta miles and 2,500 American miles as of this writing.  Posting of miles talks between 3 weeks and a month; if you're good at word games it takes about 15 hours of game playing to earn that.  I play this instead of solitaire when I need a break and this is now my primary online game. You need to use Internet Explorer as well as Microsoft Vista (surprise, surprise . . .) to make things work most quickly.

Don’t bother with this unless you have a fast DSL connection; you’ll never get a prize otherwise as the prizes are rewarded “first come first serve” and are gone within seconds of going on offer.  That said – I have managed to get 4,000 AA miles out of them.  To win their shopping spree, be sure re-log in to RewardTV about 10 minutes before the spree and hope for very fast mouse skills.
MemolinkWould you write me so that I can refer you?
Memolink is also primarily a shopping portal, see below, but has a daily trivia game.  It's fun, but a very low value, although that will add up after a while.
MypointsWould you write me so that I can refer you?
Mypoints is primarily a shopping portal, see below, but runs seasonal games and promotional sweepstakes.  I've never won anything major in them but the occasional five point win adds up over time.

This is essentially a free Internet lotto.  It will take a lot of clicking, (update 6/29/08 especially as they've changed the lowest point win of 10 points to an entry in a daily raffle.) but it's positively addictive and you can get $25 gift certificates and also a gift MasterCard for $25 and up. (Update 8/7/08 as of May, 2008 the company only offers raffle prizes.  It's no longer worth my time.)
